Details : Elevating the new dimension of wine appreciation through “Desire Collection”, LUCARIS held the wine tasting event ‘LUCARIS Master Class’ in Phuket and Samui during August-September 2016. The participants were the key opinion leaders in leading brands of hotels and restaurants in Phuket and Samui.
The seminar was conducted by Mr. Pairach Intaput, the President of Association of Thai Sommelier and a respectful wine consultant of leading companies in Thailand. Using different glass designs of Desire collection, participants were able to fully experience complicated taste profiles of wines for the perfect match with each Desire wine glass.
The highlight was when participants experienced the magic of “Aerlumer” the signature of wine glass innovation. “Aerlumer” encourages micro-oxidation and softens the wine while swirling as it allows diversified interaction between wine and air, intentionally subtle to avoid effects when discovering colors of wine. Desire is co-designed and co-created by the award-winning sommeliers team of Hong Kong Sommelier Association, led by Mr. Nelson Chow, the President of the Association. It is intended to simplify the wine glass selection both for wine lovers and wine service professionals.
